A little smarterHi all
I've been working to give this blog a little more personality...it's getting better but more is to come.
Tonight, I have been taking advantage of the great tools offered by Google to make your website robot friendly. I encourage you to visit the Webmaster Help Center and start with the guidelines. Work your way through the links, making improvements on your site as you go.
Google has provided you with a long list of tools including diagnostics, statistics, and link checkers to name just a few. The amount of information provided is a goldmine for newbies. I particularly like the web crawl report that shows any errors that the Googlebot encountered when crawling your site. I recently made several changes to my site Work at Home Clinic and found three pages that contained "URLs not followed" errors. So in a matter of minutes, I was able to correct the problem.
They have also provided a link to the text browser Lynx, which views your site the way search engine spiders will see your site. If there are sections missing, you know that search engines are having trouble reading your site.
"Two thumbs up" for Google and their willingness to provide us with the answers to the mystery surrounding Google rankings.
Excited!Hey fellow work at home entrepreneurs, moms, and wanna be's...Welcome to my first blog. I'm really excited that I have finally found the time to create this blog. I have wanted to do this for the last year. Who cares that it's 12:05am, right?
I wanted to create an extension of WorkatHomeClinic.com, so I could jot down my thoughts regarding the work at home industry. Whether it's a quick blip about a new and exciting website or an insightful thought that will require your opinion.
I look forward to your input and hope to inform, enlighten, and even amuse you at times.
Well, it's late...Good night John Boy!
